My name is Miah Anderson and I’m a Brisbane based traditional 2D character and 2D effects animator. I completed my Bachelor of Animation at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University in 2024.
I'm a traditional 2D character and effects animator proficient in TVPaint and Harmony’s Toonboom and Storyboard Pro. With experience in rough animation, rigged animation, clean up, colouring and scene set up.
I've done work for multiple multinational remote projects, varying from short films to successful YouTube series.
Apart of the animation teams behind student films The Tragic life of a Fishman, A Special Gift and Cadence.
Animation and art have been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I would welcome any opportunity to continue to grow my skills.
A bit of background for my artistic interests include drawing wizards, dragons and scary looking lady knights, usually with a bit of fire mixed in.
I was raised on kids shows like Jane and The Dragon, Mike the Knight and Quest for Camelot. Which really shaped my creative interests and got me hooked on medieval fantasy young!
When I'm not animating some of my other hobbies include roller blading, dressing up as a knight, and the occasional spot of acrylic painting.
